The Art of Levi van Veluw

Netherlands´ most promising young talents, Levi van Veluw. Since having graduated from the Artez Art School in Arnhem the Netherlands, Levi van Veluw has enjoyed a remarkable amount of success in a short period of time.

Levi van Veluw´s photo series are self-portraits, drawn and photographed by himself: a one-man-process. His works constitute elemental transfers; modifying the face as object; combining it with other stylistic elements to create a third visual object of great visual impact.

Leaves & Flowers by Federico Galvani

I found this artwork in the Ornate edition of BIS Publishers' Graphic magazine. It was created by Federico Galvani of Happycentro+Sintetik, this is my second feature from the Italian creative studio, a very beautiful piece.

DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist and The Urban Art of Paul Insect

Being a massive fan of the previous albums Brainfreeze & Product Placement, I couldn't wait to check out the new release by DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist. The Hard Sell CD comes in a unique digipak design, with art by Paul Insect. I haven't got hold of one of these yet but I've posted some of Paul's art here for you to enjoy.

Below are some great examples of Paul Insects work.

The godfather of urban art, Shepard Fairey aka Obey

I stumbled across this poster whilst out and about with my camera. At the time of taking this photo I had no idea what I was looking at until a friend of mine introduced me to the works of Shephard Fairey aka Obey. I've decided to post some examples of his work, this particular posting is one of his signature pieces entitled 'Obey Giant', it is of french wrestler André the Giant.

He inspired Bansky, is in demand for major marketing campaigns, but still loves the adrenaline rush of a 'bombing mission'.
